Roc360 is a financial services and asset management platform for residential property investors in the United States. The company connects fragmented loan markets with institutional capital through a branchless network of third-party originators, brokers, and in-house sales teams to originate loans to property investors who buy, rehab, resell, and/or rent properties. The company originates and services multiple business-purpose loan products (“BPLs”), via various sales channels, which, together with ancillary service offerings, provide an end-to-end experience that drives repeat customer transactions and profitability.
The company’s loan products include residential transitional bridge loans (“RTLs”) (including single and multi-family properties) and Rental Loans (including single property rentals and rental portfolios).
Founded in 2014, Roc360 is headquartered in NYC and has over 500 team members globally across three continents and five countries. Roc360 can originate loans in 45+ states and
Washington, D.C. The company’s founders have worked together for over 25 years, and most of its senior management teams have also enjoyed a long tenure at the company. Through its proprietary technology-enabled Third-Party Originator and Direct-to-Borrower lending channels and strong brand recognition, the company has funded over $18bn in loans since its inception.
WHO WE ARE
We build teams grounded in intellectual rigor, technical strength, respect, empathy, and a shared joy of problem solving. We move at startup pace with disciplined execution.
THE ROLE
We are an SEC-registered investment advisor looking for a detail-oriented junior legal operations coordinator to support the day-to-day functioning of our in-house legal department.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on keeping the department organized, efficient, and well-run. The right candidate brings strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to learn the investment advisory space. You will work directly with senior attorneys and the General Counsel.
The right candidate is organized and commercially minded,
takes ownership of their work, and is energized by the variety that comes with in-house practice. Prior experience in financial services or real estate is a plus, but not required.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Corporate and General Contracting
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, technology and SaaS agreements, real estate contracts, NDAs, engagement letters, and service agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming contract requests — managing intake,
coordinating review timelines, and advising internal stakeholders on legal and business risk.
- Maintain and improve the department's contract management system, including tracking execution, expiration, and renewal dates and flagging material obligations.
- Develop and maintain standard form agreements and playbooks to streamline recurring transactions.
Corporate Governance and Entity Management
- Support corporate housekeeping across the company’s legal entities, including drafting resolutions and maintaining minute books.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of board and committee materials, including compiling supporting documents and ensuring accurate records are maintained.
- Help coordinate entity formation, qualification, and dissolution matters in connection with business initiatives.
Regulatory and Compliance Support
- Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory filings for the firm’s SEC-
registered investment advisor, including coordinating deadlines and gathering required information.
- Support the General Counsel on compliance-related projects, policy updates, and regulatory correspondence.
- Maintain filing calendars, compliance checklists,
and deadline tracking systems for the legal and compliance team.
Outside Counsel and Legal Operations
- Coordinate outside counsel relationships, including matter intake, budgeting, billing review, and status tracking.
- Support the ongoing development of legal department processes, templates, and infrastructure to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Handle general legal department administration, including managing shared inboxes,
drafting routine correspondence, and coordinating internal meetings.
WHAT YOU BRING
- English fluency.
- Willingness to work NYC time zone.
- 1–4 years of legal experience, whether in private practice (corporate, transactional, or real estate) or in an in-house role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — able to manage multiple matters and deadlines without close supervision.
- Clear and precise written and verbal communication, including the ability to translate legal concepts for non-lawyer audiences.
- Collaborative, low-ego approach to work; comfortable operating in a lean team environment where everyone pitches in.
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
- Prior in-house experience, particularly in real estate, financial services, asset management, or investment advisory.
- Experience with billing, matter management, or contract lifecycle management.
