Lingora is a South Korea-based online education company providing 1:1 language lessons to students who want to improve their speaking and communication skills.

We are currently looking for qualified and passionate Spanish Tutors to join our growing team and teach Korean learners through online, appointment-based classes.

About the Position

As a Spanish Tutor at Lingora, you will help students develop their Spanish communication skills while creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

You will be expected to:

- Conduct comprehensive 1:1 online Spanish lessons.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and engaging activities to facilitate learning.
- Provide individualized instruction and guidance based on each student's needs and proficiency level.
- Encourage interactive and meaningful communication in Spanish.
- Build positive relationships and establish mutual trust with students.
- Help students develop confidence and interest in learning Spanish.
- Prepare and deliver well-organized, engaging, and effective lessons.
- Provide appropriate feedback and guidance to support students' learning progress.

Qualifications

- Spanish passport holder or native-level Spanish speaker
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- Strong knowledge of teaching practices and educational guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, energetic, responsible, and committed
- Creative and versátil approach to teaching




- Intermediate or higher English proficiency
- Able to communicate effectively with Korean learners and explain lessons or learning materials in English or Korean

Work Details

- Work Location: Remote / Work From Home

- Class Type: 1:1 Online Classes
- Contract: 1-year contract, automatically renewable annually unless otherwise specified
- Compensation: USD $14–$22/hour + incentives

Technical Requirements

Computer:

- Processor: Intel Core i-Series 6th Generation or later, or AMD equivalent
- RAM: Minimum 8 GB (16 GB recommended)
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit with an activated Windows license, or Mac 2018 or newer
- Storage: At least 20 GB of available hard-disk space
- Headset: USB-type headset only

Internet:

- Download Speed: Minimum 15 Mbps, tested using KDATA Korean Servers
- Upload Speed: Minimum 20 Mbps
- Connection: Stable LAN/Fiber connection required
- Wi-Fi and USB/mobile internet sticks are not permitted
- Ping: 500 ms or lower
