? FPI Predoctoral Position in Hydrogen Safety | EXH2 Project

Would you like to pursue a PhD combining hydrogen experimentation, large-scale explosion testing, and CFD simulation ?

We are looking for a candidate to join the EXH2 project at the Laboratorio Oficial José María de Madariaga (LOM), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) . The project investigates hydrogen explosions in modular facilities and develops criteria to improve their safety.

The PhD will combine experimental work, instrumentation, and data analysis with modelling using FLACS-CFD .

We offer a four-year predoctoral contract , specialised training, participation in international conferences and scientific publications, as well as research stays at international research centres.





? Candidate profile: Engineering graduates with a Master’s degree and an interest in hydrogen, industrial safety, CFD simulation, programming, and experimental work. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements established in the call.
