About the Position

We are looking for a Production Shift Leader to lead production activities in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The main mission of this role is to ensure the availability of products within the assigned production unit, guaranteeing quality, safety, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery, while ensuring effective team management during the assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in production planning activities together with the Supply Chain team.
- Ensure compliance with procedures, GMP requirements, and safety regulations.
- Lead production teams (10–20 employees), organizing shifts and resources using tools such as DCM.
- Monitor process execution through Gemba walks, identifying improvement opportunities.
- Review batch documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate deviations, implement CAPAs, and communicate changes to the team.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on Lean Manufacturing, efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Manage team performance and development, including performance reviews, objectives, and training.
- Ensure production continuity through effective shift handovers.
- Lead operational meetings (DCM, +QDCI) and monitor key performance indicators.




- Participate in validations, qualifications, and the industrialization of new products.
- Prepare shift reports and manage production incidents.
- Respond to emergency situations (telephone 300).
- Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality, and Environmental regulations.

Requirements

- Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night shifts).
- Experience in a GMP environment (pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or packaging operations).
- Previous experience leading teams of 10–20 employees.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing deviations and CAPAs.
- University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
- Intermediate to advanced English level (minimum FCE or equivalent).

Nice to have: Green Belt certification or experience leading Lean projects.
