About Sofatalk

Sofatalk Modern Psychology has been practicing since 2016, with in-person locations in Amsterdam, Málaga, Marbella, Valencia and Utrecht, and online sessions worldwide. The team consists of licensed psychologists and a coach. Clients are largely expats, internationals, professionals and executives, seen in English, Dutch and Spanish.

How we work

- Every client starts with a free 20-minute matching call. If the fit is wrong, we refer the client elsewhere.
- No waitlist. The first session is typically in the same week.
- Goal-directed work. Progress is reviewed every few sessions, and therapy closes when the client has what they came for.
- We do not stretch treatment to fill billable hours.
- Treatment through science backed therapyforms

What you can expect

- Supervision. Regular supervision with an experienced psychologist on the team, for case reflection and professional development.
- Intervision. Peer consultation with colleagues across the Málaga, Valencia and Utrecht teams. You work independently, not alone.
- Good pay. A competitive rate per session, paid reliably.
- No invoicing. We bill clients, collect payments and chase what is outstanding. You never send a client an invoice.
- Admin and systems handled. Intake, matching calls, booking, scheduling, client communication and the practice software are arranged for you.
- Clients delivered. Every client arrives through our matching call, so you start with people who fit your expertise and approach.
- Yearly teambuilding. Once a year,



the option to join the full team from where ever in person.
- Congresses. Each year, the option to attend a professional congress with the team to keep your knowledge and network current.

You focus on one thing: being your best therapist self. We take care of the rest.

The role

You see adult clients in person in Málaga and/or Marbella, and online. Typical presentations are anxiety, burnout and stress, trauma, grief and loss, relationship problems and expat adjustment. You manage your own caseload and receive clients through Sofatalk's matching process.

Terms

- Freelance collaboration (autónomo/a).
- Versátil schedule: you set your own availability and caseload size.
- Mix of in-person and online sessions.
- Compensation: negociable.

Requirements

- Degree in psychology and registration as a colegiado/a in Spain
- Registered as autónomo/a in Spain, or willing to register.
- Fluent English at a professional, therapeutic level.
- Experience with evidence-based methods such as CBT, ACT or others.
- Able to work in person in Málaga and/or Marbella.
- Professional liability insurance.
