Position Summary The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management framework for IREN’s Spain Data Center, ensuring that operational processes, service delivery, maintenance activities, vendor performance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives meet internal standards, contractual expectations, regulatory requirements, and the reliability needs of a large-scale, renewable-powered data center environment.

This role contributes to the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the Badajoz Data Center by establishing quality standards, monitoring compliance, leading audits and inspections, managing non-conformities and corrective actions, supporting process standardization, and promoting a culture of operational excellence across site teams, contractors, suppliers, and service partners.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Design & Construction Director, the Quality Manager is responsible for:

- Define and maintain the site quality management framework by establishing policies, procedures, standards, inspection routines, documentation requirements, and quality control processes aligned with IREN’s operational, contractual, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Monitor operational quality performance across data center activities by reviewing maintenance execution, incident follow-up, service delivery, technical documentation, vendor performance, asset records, and compliance with approved processes and service levels.
- Plan and lead quality audits, inspections, assessments, and process reviews by identifying gaps, risks, non-conformities, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions to strengthen reliability, traceability, safety, and operational consistency.
- Manage non-conformities, deviations, lessons learned, and corrective and preventive actions by coordinating root cause analysis, action plans, owners, deadlines, evidence, closure verification,



and recurrence prevention across internal teams and external partners.
- Support vendor, contractor, and supplier quality management by reviewing performance, documentation, deliverables, inspection results, service quality, compliance records, and improvement actions to ensure that external partners meet IREN’s expectations.
- Coordinate quality reporting and governance by preparing dashboards, KPI updates, audit findings, issue logs, trend analyses, risk summaries, management reports, and recommendations for site leadership and operational stakeholders.
- Promote process standardization and continuous improvement by collaborating with operations, engineering, facilities, safety, security, procurement, IT, and corporate teams to improve workflows, documentation, training, handover practices, and operational controls.
- Strengthen the site quality culture by coaching teams on quality expectations, supporting awareness initiatives, encouraging proactive issue identification, and ensuring alignment with IREN’s reliability, sustainability, customer service, and high-performance infrastructure standards.

Requirements

- At least 7–10 years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, process improvement, operational excellence, compliance, or service quality, preferably within data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial operations, energy infrastructure, telecommunications, technology services, or complex facility environments.
- Degree in Engineering, Industrial Organization, Quality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management,



or a related discipline; relevant certifications in ISO 9001, auditing, Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, quality management systems, or process excellence are well regarded.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, audit planning, inspection routines, non-conformity management, corrective and preventive actions, root cause analysis, process mapping, KPI reporting, documentation control, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good understanding of data center or mission-critical operations, including maintenance workflows, service levels, incident management, change control, vendor management, asset documentation, compliance requirements, and operational risk management.
- Ability to interpret operational procedures, technical records, audit evidence, performance data, contractual requirements, regulatory expectations, and customer standards with strong attention to traceability, consistency, reliability, and risk reduction.
- Proficiency with quality and reporting tools, document management systems, audit trackers, KPI dashboards, issue/action registers, Microsoft Office, and data analysis tools; experience with CMMS, EHS, or service management platforms is an advantage.
- Structured, analytical, collaborative, and improvement-oriented profile, with strong communication, stakeholder management, documentation, facilitation, problem-solving, planning, influencing, and follow-up skills.

- Compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
- Total Compensation package may be inclusive of annual incentive bonus, and equity (long-term incentive)
