commercetools is seeking a Senior Search Engineer to join the Discovery Team to build the retrieval layer behind product discovery for leading ecommerce brands. You will enhance search across catalogs, enabling fast, cost-effective results in a scalable JVM backend. You will work on lexical, semantic, and hybrid retrieval with ElasticSearch/MongoDB, contribute to relevance, and operate infrastructure on Kubernetes with Terraform in a multi-tenant setup. Hybrid European office presence required.
