Job Description: A vacancy for a Buyer has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe (Madrid).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External).
- Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve through out the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).
- Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
- Is part of the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.

SKILLS- EXPERIENCE
Given the scope of the position you will be able to work seamlessly with all levels of the business in Airbus Commercial.

- Experience in Procurement
- Proven successful experience in teamwork in intercultural environment
- Efficient project management
- Effective negotiator with proven commercial and contractual background and legal awareness
- Financial key indicators knowledge
- Experience in delivering cost reduction initiatives
- Ability to drive improvement & innovation to deliver concrete results
- In depths know-how of the Aerostructure market and supplier strategies of his/her perimeter
- Proven in communication, especially with suppliers’ representatives and internal stakeholders
- Effective management of customer expectations and stakeholders
- Negotiation level in English
