Offer Description

Mission:

To develop and validate multimodal biomarkers for the localization of the epileptic focus in children with refractory epilepsy.

Functions to be developed:
- Collaborate in the preprocessing and quality control of intracranial EEG recordings of patients with refractory epilepsy.
- Implement and evaluate the extraction of biomarkers of brain activity and connectivity from intracranial EEG.




- Collaborate in the integration of intracranial EEG biomarkers with neuroimaging data for the localization of the epileptic focus.
- Support the validation of biomarkers by comparing them with available clinical notes on the location of the epileptic focus.
- Document the code, procedures and results of the project's analyses to facilitate their reproducibility.
- Use of specialized libraries insignal processing and analysis.
- Application oflibraries of Python for machine learning development.

Specific Requirements

Knowledge:
- Signal theory.
- Multivariate analysis.
- Machine learning.

Professional Experience:
- In the development of projects with medical applications.
- Experience in functions similar to those described will be valued, specifically in the development of research activities, both in the university and industrial environment.
