Senior Technology Procurement Manager

Are you an experienced Technology Procurement professional with strong Software and SaaS sourcing and negotiation experience?

I’m partnering with one of the fastest-growing procurement technology businesses in Europe, which is continuing to expand its presence across Spain.

They are looking to hire a Senior Technology Procurement Manager to work with major global organisations, taking ownership of complex technology procurement, strategic sourcing and commercial negotiations.

The Role

This is a highly commercial, customer-facing Technology Procurement position where you will lead strategic sourcing and negotiations across Software, SaaS and wider Technology spend.

You will

- Lead complex Technology Procurement and Strategic Sourcing projects
- Negotiate major Software and SaaS contracts, purchases and renewals
- Develop technology and software category strategies
- Negotiate directly with major global technology vendors
- Identify and deliver significant savings and commercial value
- Partner with C-suite and senior stakeholders across Procurement, Technology and Finance
- Understand customers' technology strategies and translate these into commercial sourcing plans
- Act as a trusted Technology Procurement advisor to strategic customers




- Manage complex commercial processes from initial requirement through to negotiation and completion
- Build strong relationships with customers and technology suppliers
- Coach and support more junior procurement colleagues

What We're Looking For We are looking for candidates with strong experience across Technology Procurement / IT Procurement, ideally with significant exposure to Software and SaaS.

You will ideally demonstrate

- Strong Technology / IT Procurement experience
- Excellent Software and SaaS sourcing knowledge
- A track record of leading complex technology negotiations
- Strong commercial and contract negotiation capability
- Experience delivering significant savings and commercial value
- Excellent senior stakeholder and C-suite engagement
- Strong strategic sourcing and category management experience
- The ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on with negotiations
