The Securities Services Treasury team oversees the regulatory treasury and cash management of the financial market infrastructures in Switzerland and Spain. In addition to steering and managing liquidity for the custody and clearing businesses, we are also responsible for investments, as well as the operational and strategic management of cash and collateral holdings.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Treasury Controller with a proven track record in banking or financial institutions. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing treasury controlling activities, including financial reporting, performance analysis, forecasting, and management information. You will drive and support strategic initiatives and treasury projects, prepare high-quality reports and presentations for senior management, provide insightful analyses on liquidity, funding, investments, and treasury performance, and contribute to selected operational treasury activities and controls.

What You Will Do
- Oversee clearing and post trading business related to client payments and liquidity management, while focusing on P&L; reconciliation, operational controls, and other controlling-related accounting tasks.
- Provide oversight of treasury activities including cash management, investments, and foreign exchange transactions, with a focus on reporting accuracy, controls, and governance.
- Lead treasury reporting, planning, and forecasting activities, providing management with timely insights into liquidity and financial risk exposures.
- Drive the development of Treasury's data and analytics capabilities by establishing a robust data foundation for ad hoc analyses, KPI reporting, forecasting,
and strategic decision-making and monitor and analyse treasury KPIs, balance sheet developments, Net Interest Income (NII), and investment performance across multiple entities.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of treasury data, reports, and reconciliations through robust controls and governance frameworks.
- Perform treasury-related accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end closing tasks and prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or professional certifications such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Treasury Controlling or Financial Controlling
- Collaborator with a positive attitude and at the same time independent, customer-focused, accurate, and efficient way of working, with a keen eye for detail in controlling-related tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting, forecasting, performance analysis, and cash & liquidity management, supported by a solid understanding of controlling and reporting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.Good analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and proficient in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively.
