España

At CREADIS Spain, we are growing our Mechanical Solutions & Services team.

We support customers across renewable energy, defense, themed entertainment, and advanced industrial manufacturing - delivering engineering solutions where structural integrity, reliability, and execution are critical.

As part of the international DIS/CREADIS Group, our Spain team contributes to projects across Europe, North America, and Asia, supporting the full engineering lifecycle from early concept development and verification to operational optimization and site-specific engineering.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you will work on technically demanding projects where analysis quality, engineering judgement, and practical execution truly matter.

You will contribute to both consultancy assignments and full-scope engineering solution delivery projects, combining advanced structural analysis with close collaboration across customers, design teams, and multidisciplinary engineering environments.

This is not a narrow “simulation-only” role.

Beyond performing analyses, you will contribute to technical decision-making, help define engineering approaches, challenge assumptions, and ensure solutions are robust, validated, and fit for real-world operation.

Depending on your level of experience, you may also take ownership of technical work packages, customer dialogue, mentoring, and engineering methodology development.

Your Responsibilities

- Develop and execute advanced FEA models of structural systems and mechanical components using ANSYS Workbench and APDL
- Evaluate structural response under static, thermal, fatigue, and time-dependent loading conditions
- Define analysis strategies, load cases, and acceptance criteria based on customer requirements, standards, and engineering best practices
- Validate finite element models using testing data, calculations, and engineering correlation methods

- Prepare technical documentation, calculation notes, and formal verification reports
- Present methodologies, assumptions, and results during technical and design reviews
- Automate analysis workflows, post-processing, and reporting using Python and/or APDL
- Collaborate closely with design engineers, project teams, and customers throughout project execution

For senior profiles, responsibilities may additionally include:
- Leading technical reviews and customer discussions
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- Driving continuous improvement of analysis methods, tools, and engineering standards
- Acting as a technical lead within projects and multidisciplinary teams

Your Background We are hiring across multiple seniority levels:

- Junior (0–3 years) - strong technical foundation and eagerness to learn
- Mid-level (3–7 years) -independent execution and solid engineering judgement
- Senior (7+ years) - technical leadership, customer ownership, and advanced problem-solving capabilities

You likely bring:
- A Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of structural mechanics, continuum mechanics, and finite element methods
- Hands-on experience with commercial FEA tools - preferably ANSYS
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python and/or APDL
- Experience with weld, bolt, and fatigue verification methodologies
- Familiarity with relevant engineering codes and standards such as Eurocode, DNV, EN 13155,

and EN 13001 (particularly for mid/senior profiles)
- Strong technical communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work professionally in English within an international engineering environment
- A practical, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work directly with customers in a consulting context

What We Offer

- Technically challenging projects with real engineering impact
- Direct customer collaboration and technical influence
- A combination of consultancy projects and full engineering solution delivery
- End-to-end project involvement - from concept development to validated systems
- International collaboration across industries and regions
- Fully remote, with an opportunity to come into the Barcelona office if preferred by the candidate
- A professional and collaborative environment focused on engineering quality, knowledge sharing, and continuous development

Big Enough to Deliver - Small Enough to Care At DIS/CREADIS Group, we combine the capabilities of a integral engineering consultancy with a collaborative and people-focused culture.

Our teams bring together expertise across mechanical, electrical, software, automation, and project management disciplines to solve complex engineering challenges and help accelerate our customers’ ambitions.

We are ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certified and actively support technical development and knowledge sharing through our global Communities of Practice.

If you are motivated by advanced engineering challenges and want to work in an environment where engineering quality, collaboration, and practical problem-solving are highly valued, we would love to hear from you.

We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified individuals to apply regardless of ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or age.
