Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead Dexcom Spain’s communications strategy, shaping how the company is perceived by media, health authorities, and patient groups. You’ll own regional initiatives, craft compelling narratives, and turn pilots into scalable case studies. You’ll collaborate across functions to strengthen Dexcom’s position and accelerate access to innovative care models. This is a chance to define the voice of a fast‑growing health tech leader in a newly created markets context.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Own the annual communications plan for Dexcom Spain, from corporate narrative to launches and regional stories
• Manage media relations and external PR agency, including press materials and spokesperson coaching
• Develop and govern long-term partnerships with patient organizations at national and regional levels
• Project-manage regional and national initiatives end-to-end with clear milestones and reporting
• Collaborate with Market Access to align communications with health authorities across CCAA
• Highlight innovation projects and turn pilots into replicable case studies for multiple audiences
• Lead internal communications to share achievements and strategic importance
• Define and track communication and advocacy KPIs and report impact to leadership
Responsabilidades
• Experience building and running communications or patient advocacy programs in healthcare, medtech or pharma in Spain
• Fluency in Spanish and English with ability to briefing journalists, authorities, and patient communities
• Deep knowledge of the Spanish healthcare system, decision-makers, and advocacy for access
• Strong project management discipline and ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams
• Prudent judgment on tone, reputation and risk with escalation when needed
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical and Commercial and influencing without direct authority
• Pragmatic, resilient, and action-oriented with a bias toward delivering outcomes
• Nice to have: experience with compliance and transparency frameworks for patient org collaboration; comfort with digital content and health-focused social platforms
