Position Summary The Technical Office Manager is responsible for leading the field-based technical office function across IREN’s data center construction projects, ensuring that planning, logistics, cost control, quality coordination, documentation, reporting, and technical support activities are aligned with project objectives, approved designs, contractual requirements, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and operational readiness expectations.

This role contributes to the successful delivery of IREN’s next-generation, renewable-powered and high-performance data center facilities by acting as the main coordination point between field execution and project controls, leading the technical office team, integrating inputs from planning, logistics, cost, quality, design, construction, contractors, and vendors, and providing timely, accurate, and actionable information to support safe, efficient, cost-controlled, and high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Design & Construction Director, the Technical Office Manager is responsible for:

- Lead and coordinate the field-based technical office team, including planning, logistics, cost control, quality, documentation, and reporting roles, to ensure integrated support to construction execution and effective alignment with project priorities.
- Oversee project planning and progress control by consolidating schedules, lookahead plans, productivity data, work-front status, milestones, constraints, critical path updates, and recovery actions to support timely and predictable project delivery.
- Coordinate construction logistics and site support requirements by ensuring that material flows, access routes, laydown areas, temporary facilities, equipment needs, deliveries, and contractor interfaces are planned and controlled in line with field execution needs.
- Manage technical and project documentation by controlling drawings, RFIs, submittals, change inputs, technical queries,



reports, meeting actions, quality records, handover information, and document traceability across the construction project lifecycle.
- Support cost control and commercial visibility by coordinating cost forecasts, budget tracking inputs, progress measurements, change and variation information, contractor payment support, risk registers, and cost-impact analysis with the relevant project stakeholders.
- Ensure quality coordination and technical compliance by supporting inspection readiness, NCR follow-up, punch list management, as-built documentation, handover packages, lessons learned, and alignment with project specifications, codes, standards, and IREN requirements.
- Provide structured reporting and decision support to the Head of Design & Construction by consolidating technical office outputs, identifying risks and deviations, escalating critical issues, proposing corrective actions, and enabling informed decisions across field execution, project controls, and delivery governance.

Requirements

- At least 10–12 years of experience in technical office management, project controls, construction management, planning, cost control, quality coordination, or field engineering, preferably within data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial buildings, energy infrastructure, logistics facilities, or large-scale construction projects.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline; additional training in project controls, planning, cost management,



quality management, contract administration, or construction delivery is highly valued.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical office or project controls teams, including planners, logistics coordinators, cost controllers, quality personnel, document controllers, field engineers, contractors, consultants, and vendors in site-based construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction project controls, including scheduling, progress measurement, cost tracking, forecasting, change management, risk monitoring, reporting, contractor coordination, quality documentation, logistics planning, and handover preparation.
- Ability to interpret and manage technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, inspection and test plans, quality records, contracts, BOQs, schedules, cost reports, progress reports, as-built information, and handover documentation.
- Familiarity with data center construction practices, mission-critical infrastructure requirements, safety and quality standards, building codes, sustainability objectives, and the coordination needs of fast-paced, power-dense, and technically complex construction projects.
- Leadership-oriented, analytical, organized, proactive, and detail-driven profile, with strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, planning, reporting, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-support skills.

- Compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
- Total Compensation package may be inclusive of annual incentive bonus, and equity (long-term incentive)
