Lever, Inc. seeks a Backend Engineer focusing on MTA infrastructure, based in Spain but fully remote. You will build and operate high-volume email delivery systems, including SMTP delivery, routing, retries, and reputation controls, with ownership across reliability and observability. You'll work with Trust & Safety and Core Sending teams, using TypeScript or Go, AWS, PostgreSQL, and Datadog. Remote-friendly, with occasional team off-sites and travel as needed.
