Job Description

An opportunity for an Occupational Health Physician has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Medical & Occupational Health Team. Our mission is to safeguard the health, safety, and well-being of all Airbus employees. As part of our multidisciplinary health unit, you will play a proactive role in preventive medicine, emergency response, and promoting a culture of health across our Getafe site.

Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive medical surveillance tailored to specific job profiles and risk exposure to effectively prevent, diagnose work‑related pathologies, and facilitate job retention.
- Identify, assess, and refer vulnerable employee groups or individuals to relevant specialists when appropriate.
- Propose, pilot, and participate in occupational health actions and projects in close cooperation and consultation with specialised teams.
- Propose fitness‑to‑work recommendations based on workplace risks and individual health assessments.
- Support and deliver the organisation of emergency responses and high‑quality first‑aid provisions on‑site.

Skills & Experience

We are looking forward to meeting you:

- Education: University Degree in Medicine (specialisation in Occupational Medicine / Medicina del Trabajo is highly valued).
- Experience: At least 2‑3 years of experience in a related occupational health position.
- Languages: Advanced/Negotiation level in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong empathy, and a proactive, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
