We're growing at Grupo Oesía! We'd like to have you join us for our next job opening: We're looking for a Service Line Business Development Manager - Tactical & Satellite Communications to join our team in Madrid or Valdepeñas in a hybrid work arrangement.
What are we looking for?
An/a Service Line Business Development Manager – Tactical & Satellite Communications, with at least 10 years of experience.
Availability to join a stable project in Madrid or Valdepeñas.
Degree: degree in engineering.
Work Model: 50% remote work.
Work Schedule:
L-J: 9h and V:5.30h.
Requirements:
Proven experience in business development for in-service support, maintenance, aftermarket, or lifecycle services. Solid technical knowledge of tactical communications, SATCOM, RF, networks, or critical communications systems. Demonstrable results in growing the maintenance business, generating a sales pipeline, extending contracts, or acquiring new customers.
Experience in developing new clients and markets for support and maintenance services. Ability to identify new service needs within the installed base and convert them into business opportunities.
Experience in developing new services or solutions with higher added value.
Senior-level, results-oriented profile with a proven ability to manage the full cycle of an opportunity: identification, development, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
Professional-level English, minimum presente B2 proficiency.
Previous experience in defense, C4ISR, or critical communications.
Willingness to travel.
The following will be considered: Experience with multi-year maintenance contracts, comprehensive support, or availability-based models, including PBL models or equivalents.
Knowledge of ILS, obsolescence, or life-cycle costs.
Experience in the modernization of radios, terminals, networks, waveforms, or SATCOM systems. Experience in remote monitoring, digital services, predictive maintenance, Communications as a Service, or SATCOM as a Service.
What will your responsibilities be? The candidate will be responsible for driving growth in the maintenance, support, and lifecycle management business for tactical and satellite communications systems, with direct responsibility for pipeline generation, portfolio growth, and new business acquisition.
The position requires a combination of technical knowledge, a business-oriented mindset, and the ability to develop new services and business models with higher added value.
Your main responsibilities will include: Generating new business opportunities for In-Service Support.
Growing existing contracts and client relationships.
Acquiring new clients and entering new markets.
Developing opportunities in maintenance, repair, field support, modernization, and obsolescence management.
Promote recurring contracts, managed services, and new support models.
Participate in RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bids, and negotiations.
Manage a qualified pipeline of opportunities and follow up on them until they are secured.
Develop and maintain the Service Business Plan for the tactical and satellite communications line.
