Join Ramboll as a leading Mechanical Engineer for Europe’s cutting-edge datacentre projects. You will steer mechanical design delivery within the Data Centre Facilities team, collaborating across disciplines and with clients to ensure resilient, sustainable cooling and support systems. You’ll guide junior engineers, contribute hands-on design work when needed, and manage project timelines. This role combines technical leadership with client-facing delivery in a mission-driven, foundation-owned firm.

Responsabilidades

- Lead Datacentre projects within your discipline and supervise a team of engineers
- Drive project delivery with minimal supervision on technical aspects
- Use design production tools (CAD, Bluebeam, calculations)



and coordinate with BIM technicians
- Complete detailed designs and oversee colleagues to meet project needs
- Build client confidence and strengthen relationships through trusted technical leadership
- Plan and manage delivery timelines and allocate resources
- Coordinate tasking to ensure deadlines are met for the mechanical lead role

Requisitos principales

- Qualified engineer with demonstrable track record in their discipline
- Experience with mission critical systems in xkdbapo datacentre or similar industries
- Accredited honours degree (CIBSE / IET / IMechE) or HNC with commitment to further education
- Active towards IEng or CEng status
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts
- Interest in or experience with digital and parametric design tools
