Role Overview

micro1 is engaging Financial Systems & Accounting Experts to support a customer project focused on accounting operations, financial reporting, and ERP systems. You'll apply your accounting judgment and financial systems expertise to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs and training data.

Prior experience in AI training or human-data work is required . Simply using AI features within accounting software does not qualify.

Scope of Work

-

- Evaluate AI-generated accounting outputs for accuracy, calculations, journal entries, and accounting treatments .

- Review and annotate financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close workpapers .

- Identify accounting errors, misstatements, and inconsistencies and provide appropriate corrections with clear rationale.

- Assess accounting workflows and financial systems logic across platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, and Dynamics 365 .

- Apply written rubrics to evaluate, rank, and grade AI-generated responses .

- Create realistic accounting scenarios, examples, and reference answers for AI training.

- Provide clear, actionable feedback to improve model performance and accounting accuracy.





- Support financial processes from transaction recording through month-end close and financial reporting .

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in financial accounting, corporate accounting, audit, bookkeeping, financial reporting, management accounting, cost accounting, or FP&A; with substantial accounting responsibilities.

- Proven experience preparing or reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements .

- Hands‑on experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, Dynamics 365, Workday , or comparable financial systems.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel .

- Familiarity with tools such as BlackLine, , Ramp, Brex, Stripe, Avalara, Anaplan, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.

- Prior paid experience in AI training, data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, model evaluation, or rubric‑based grading is required.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or above ).

- Ability to work independently and meet project quality standards and deadlines.
