Offer Description

Firstly. – To commence the selection process for the recruitment of one Higher Vocational Training Technician under an employment contract, in accordance with the criteria, requirements and selection process set out in the attached Annex.

Skills/Qualifications

Record, edit and prepare audiovisual content for the promotion of the centre’s activities and projects.
Create and adapt videos, images and other materials for publication on social media and digital channels.
Support the creation of content based on information provided by researchers and technical staff.
Prepare simple pieces for online publication, such as articles, short videos and infographics.
Publish and update content on the centre’s communication channels.
Carry out basic editing and maintenance tasks for web content.
Provide audiovisual support at seminars, conferences and other events.
Assist with the recording or broadcasting of events and the preparation of associated audiovisual materials.
Organise and maintain the archive of photographs, videos and other multimedia resources.
Carry out basic monitoring of the performance of published content using the statistics provided by the platforms themselves.

Specific Requirements

Applicants must hold Spanish nationality or that of any Member State of the European Union, or a nationality which, by virtue of international treaties concluded by the European Union and ratified by Spain, is applicable to the free movement of workers. Foreign nationals of any nationality who are legally resident in Spain and who also hold a valid work permit may also apply under this call for applications.
2. Be aged 18 or over and not have reached the minimum retirement age.
In the case of qualifications obtained abroad,



recognition must be sought from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
3. People with a degree of disability of 33 per cent or more may take part in this selection process on an equal footing with other applicants; this circumstance must be indicated on the application form.
4. Hold a Higher Technical Diploma in Audiovisual and Entertainment Project Production, or a Vocational Training qualification related to Image and Sound, audiovisual communication or digital content. The requirements and merits claimed by the applicant must be duly substantiated by providing the relevant documentation (employment history, contracts, qualifications, certificates, etc.) at the time of submitting the application.

Additional Information

Contract type: Permanent contract (Article 23 bis of Law 14/2011 LCTI).

- Full-time: 35 hours.
- Remuneration: €1,923.22 gross per month, including the pro rata share of two special payments.

Eligibility criteria

Assessment of merits and skills based on CV (0–60 points)

I. – WORK EXPERIENCE in the relevant field: (Maximum 30 points)

- Demonstrable experience or work in recording, editing and creating audiovisual content. (0–10)
- Experience in creating content for social media (0–10)
- Experience in updating and basic maintenance of websites will be taken into account (0–5)
- Experience or interest in science communication projects, institutional communication or similar initiatives will be taken into account (0–5)

II. TRAINING: (Maximum 30 points)

- Additional training in video editing, graphic design, social media or web content management. (0–30)

Candidates who hold a disability certificate indicating a disability level of 33 per cent or higher will have their final score increased by 2 points

Competency-based interview:



(0–40 points). During this stage, candidates will discuss the details set out in their CV and supporting documentation, with the assessment focusing primarily on aspects such as: adaptability, proactivity, teamwork, analytical skills, planning, organisation and results-orientation, as well as knowledge of how the IIS operates and the role to be performed.

Selection process

The selection process will consist of two stages:
1. Analysis and assessment of the CVs of all applications received, ranking them according to how well the CV matches the established profile and meets the requirements, and assessment of the merits claimed
2. Competency-based interview: candidates with the highest scores in Phase 1 will be invited to attend, provided their score in that phase exceeds half plus one. The selection panel may decide to declare the vacancy unfilled if no candidate is deemed suitable for the post.

Additional comments

Once the application submission process has been completed, the following steps will be published on the IBSAL website:

- Publication of the provisional decision listing those admitted and those not admitted based on the minimum requirements, with a period of 5 calendar days for the submission of representations.
- Publication of the provisional decision on the assessment, with a period of 5 calendar days for the submission of representations.
- Publication of the final decision on the admission and exclusion of candidates, including the list of those admitted.
- Publication of the final decision on the scoring and the minutes of the allocation of places.

Once the decision and the minutes of the allocation have been published and the successful candidate has been notified, they will have 7 working days to accept or decline the place for which they have been selected. If no response is received, the post shall be deemed to have been declined, and the next candidate with the highest score in the relevant assessment shall be selected for the post.

In the event of an urgent need to fill the post, the candidate shall have a period of 2 working days to confirm acceptance or decline of the post, after which the procedure set out in the previous paragraph shall apply.

This publication shall serve as notification; it shall replace individual notification to the persons concerned and shall have the same effect.
