Scopely is looking for a Senior Technical Artist to serve on and elevate our new casual game, Monopoly GO team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. We are a integral team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
The Monopoly GO team is one of our key franchises and has just become one of Scopely's largest games. What You Will DoAs a Senior Technical Artist, you will be working between our developers and artists and your main function will be to complete the asset integration pipeline, which is to take assets coming from external software suites, import them and assemble them into the development environment of the team (Unity3d)Participate in development of tools and solutions for our artistsUse AI to create tools and pipeline to facilitate productionLead a small team of Tech ArtistsDevelop C# tools to enhance integration and create asset pipelinesMediate between art and tech departments to ensure smooth and efficient asset integrationImplement UI and 2D assets into Unity canvas,



and spritesImporting and working with 3D assets and animations in UnityWriting shaders in HLSL and/or shadergraph for feature developmentProfile and optimize graphical , memory and CPU KPIsManaging, maintaining and integrating assets into versioned asset repositoriesCreating content with the internal Unity3d toolset: materials, animation controllers, particle systems, timeline sequences, cinematic content, lights and using third party plugins or internal toolsSupporting and documenting pipelines and best practicesWhat We're Looking ForTeam Leadership/Mentoring experiencePrevious experience using UnityExperience in UI / UX designKnowledge of 2d illustration software such as Photoshop, Figma or IllustratorExperience in mobile gamesKnowledge in repository management, asset exporting/importing, optimizations, and pipeline creationVery strong English communication skillsAI generative tools and pipeline
