Company Description Cyber Jurisprudence International Initiative (CyJurII) is a pioneering platform dedicated to advancing legal thought and governance in the digital age. The initiative examines the intersection of law, cyberspace, and emerging technologies, with focus areas such as AI and law, cybercrime and case law, digital sovereignty, legal cybernetics, cross-border jurisdiction, and cyber rights and ethics. CyJurII brings together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to shape evolving cyber jurisprudence through research, dialogue, and collaboration. Its mission is to build a dynamic body of legal knowledge that responds to the complexities of the digital world and promotes justice in integral cyber governance. Participants contribute to publications, events, and research that influence future frameworks for digital regulation and rights.
Role Description The Scholar role at CyJurII is a remote, volunteer position focused on research, writing, and collaborative exploration of law in digital contexts.



Day-to-day activities may include conducting legal and interdisciplinary research on topics such as AI governance, cybercrime, digital sovereignty, and cyber rights; drafting articles, papers, and policy briefs; and contributing to collaborative research projects and publications. Scholars may assist in organizing and participating in webinars, panel discussions, and working groups, as well as reviewing emerging case law and regulatory developments in multiple jurisdictions. The role involves regular coordination with other scholars and contributors, sharing insights, and helping build open-access knowledge resources for the broader community.
Qualifications

• Strong research and analytical abilities in law, technology, or related fields, with interest in areas such as AI & law, cybercrime, digital rights, or cross-border jurisdiction.
• Excellent legal writing, academic writing, and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-structured articles,
