Job DescriptionAgilent’s ACG R&D; organization is seeking an R&D; Manager to a software development team within ACG R&D.; This role is responsible for people leadership, delivery execution, operational management, and cross-functional alignment for software R&D; areas supporting CrossLab Connect, enterprise lab applications, analytics, monitoring, integrations, and related digital services.The manager will lead a globally distributed software R&D; team developing SaaS-based applications, data pipelines, integrations, and customer-facing capabilities that connect laboratory instruments, service workflows, customer environments, and Agilent enterprise systems. The role requires strong technical judgment, business partnership, operational discipline, and the ability to translate strategic priorities into executable team plans.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the overall operations, priorities, staffing, and delivery execution for an assigned software R&D; team. Provide direct people leadership, coaching, performance management, and career development for software engineers,



related technical contributors and contractors. Partner with product management, product ownership, architecture, quality, SRE, support, IT, marketing, and other stakeholders to align plans with business objectives and product strategy including presentations to stakeholders and sponsors. Lead development and delivery activities for SaaS-based applications, analytics, monitoring, data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise software capabilities. Support both new product development and sustaining engineering for deployed enterprise software products and services including participation in production incident triage and follow-up. Establish team operating practices that improve planning discipline, execution predictability, quality, communication, and cross-functional coordination. Identify delivery risks, technical issues, dependency gaps, or resource constraints that may delay products, releases, or projects,
