Overview In this role you contribute to the Securities Finance/Repo trading desk within Santander CIB, managing financing and liquidity across European Government Bonds and other fixed income securities. You will work closely with Trading, Sales and risk teams in a fast-paced, integral market environment, building hands-on expertise in repo, collateral and relative-value dynamics. You are responsible for executing short-term repo transactions, monitoring market conditions, and supporting client financing needs. This position offers a clear path to develop trading responsibilities as market knowledge grows, with a focus on impactful client service and efficient balance-sheet use. * Provide market levels and pricing indications for Sales and internal stakeholders * Support Sales in client activity and respond to market/financing requests * Monitor repo rates, liquidity, market conditions, and supply/demand dynamics * Contribute to client financing management and efficient use of balance sheet and collateral * Identify and analyse relative value and funding opportunities across securities and maturities * Monitor trading risks (market, liquidity, counterparty, settlement) * Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Risk, Middle Office and Operations to ensure efficient execution * Develop and improve analytical tools, data processes and trading workflows Requisitos principales * Previous experience or exposure to financial markets * Experience in Trading is valued but not required * Background in Sales, Risk, Middle Office, Treasury, Securities, Finance, Fixed Income or related functions * Experience in fast-paced financial environment with stakeholder intera
