Job Description
The Development Lead & Sales Program Manager is responsible for driving employee development and customer engagement initiatives in Barcelona. From a talent development perspective, the role owns the employee journey from onboarding through ongoing development, leading programs such as RampIT Up, delivering enablement sessions, and partnering with business leaders to build critical skills and capabilities across the organization. From a customer and partner engagement perspective, the role is responsible for designing and executing impactful activities hosted at the Tech Experience Center, coordinating customer and partner visits, facilitating demos and POCs, and creating experiences that strengthen relationships and support business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong program manager, facilitator, and relationship builder who combines a passion for talent development with excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills. They are comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, delivering training, coordinating cross‑functional initiatives, and creating exceptional experiences for both employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
DEVELOPMENT LEAD
Onboarding Lead the end-to-end onboarding experience for all new hires in Barcelona, ensuring a smooth and engaging integration into the company.
Coordinate with HR, management, and global onboarding teams to manage logistics, communications, access to tools and resources, and ensure a consistent onboarding process.
Act as the main onboarding contact, providing support to new employees while maintaining and continuously improving onboarding documentation and knowledge resources.
RampIT Up and Post‑Onboarding Development Lead
Lead the RampIT Up post‑onboarding development program, supporting employees as they transition to full productivity. Design and continuously evolve learning journeys in collaboration with Enablement teams and Sales Managers, ensuring alignment with business and development needs. Act as a key facilitator and trainer, delivering a substantial part of the program’s enablement sessions,
coordinating training activities, and monitoring participant progress and impact.
Talent Development
Identify and address capability gaps across the organization in partnership with sales leadership. Design, coordinate, and deliver enablement sessions and development programs, leveraging both local and global resources to maximize impact. Measure learning effectiveness and adoption through attendance, engagement, completion, and business impact metrics.
SALES PROGRAM MANAGER
Customer & Partner Engagement Lead the end‑to‑end execution of customer and partner visits, from planning and logistics to on‑site coordination and follow‑up. Design impactful visit experiences by working with business stakeholders, sales teams, and technical experts to create tailored agendas and content. Manage demos, POCs, and visit reporting, either facilitating them directly or coordinating the appropriate resources to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3‑6 years of experience in training, learning and development, onboarding, enablement, or talent development roles.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating projects and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Technical knowledge, HPE Portfolio and strategy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong change management mindset and customer‑focused approach.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
