ICT Financial Planner
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our ICT department, focusing on financial planning, governance, and portfolio management. This role is essential to ensure effective management of ICT investments and operational spending, acting as a key coordination point among ICT leaders, Controlling, Procurement, and other corporate stakeholders. The primary objectives include supporting ICT portfolio management activities, enhancing financial planning processes, and providing comprehensive executive reporting. Collaboration with various departments will ensure alignment with strategic objectives and a clear understanding of resource capacity, risks, and project prioritization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in ICT portfolio management and PMO governance, providing visibility on programs, projects, roadmaps, risks, and resource capacity.
- Coordinate portfolio prioritization, KPI/OKR monitoring, and executive reporting, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Improve ICT planning and reporting processes, tools, and dashboards, ensuring data quality and reliable insights.
- Manage financial planning activities, including budget preparation, forecasting, expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Oversee Procurement-to-Pay processes, including purchase requisitions, orders, and compliance with corporate policies.
- Support project governance, including Investment Requests and approval workflows, ensuring necessary documentation is available.
- Prepare and present periodic updates on portfolio, financial,
and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 4-5 years of experience in ICT financial planning, portfolio management, or related roles.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial closing, and investment management processes.
- Experience with project portfolio governance, prioritization, and progress monitoring.
- Familiarity with Procurement-to-Pay processes, including purchase orders and invoice management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical/reporting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, portfolio management, or business intelligence platforms.
