What is the challenge?
Your future role
* Manage and oversee indirect tax (VAT) obligations across multiple countries
of operation.
* Prepare, review, and submit periodic VAT returns and other indirect tax
filings.
* Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and internal procedures.
* Analyze business operations and transactions to ensure their correct tax
treatment.
* Respond to inquiries, audits, and requests from tax authorities.
* Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams on tax compliance
matters.
* Identify tax risks and propose improvements to VAT compliance processes and
controls.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate
* University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business
Administration, etc.).
* 2-4 years of Previous experience in VAT Compliance or a similar position,
with responsibility for VAT filings, tax compliance, and related activities.
* Good level of English.
* Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities.
* Leadership skills.
