Project Director | Data Center Project | Barcelona | Freelance We are looking to engage a well established and experienced Freelance Project Director to join a new large-scale data center project in Barcelona. Location: Barcelona (4 days per week onsite) Start: November / December Contract: 2.5 Year Freelance Contract Project: Data Center Role Overview This is a senior, hands‑on role responsible for managing the project from A-Z, working closely with the General Contractor, consultants and internal stakeholders. The position is challenging and fast‑paced, requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to drive programme delivery. Key Responsibilities * Overall project leadership from design through construction, commissioning and handover * Full responsibility for programme understanding,



control and challenge * Day‑to‑day management and coordination of the General Contractor * Supporting and challenging the GC to ensure schedule, quality and cost targets are met * Cost awareness and support, including reporting and change management * Regular reporting to senior stakeholders and executive management Essential Skills * Proven experience as a Project Manager / Director function on data center projects * Previous data center project experience in Spain is required * Demonstrated track record xsgfvud managing full lifecycle projects * Strong understanding of large-scale construction programmes and GC management * Fluent English, with Spanish language skills highly desirable * Comfortable operating in a high‑pressure, senior stakeholder environment * Strong knowledge of the Spanish construction and data center market #J-18808-Ljbffr
