The CO2 Mitigation Accelerated by Photons group led by Prof. Dr. Pelayo García de Arquer is seeking exceptional researchers and engineers with a strong scientific and technical background and an excellent proven track record to contribute to the development and automation of advanced electrolysis systems. The successful candidates will work on the automation, operation and optimization of electrochemical systems, including water, CO₂ and nitrate electrolysis, with a particular focus on improving experimental workflows and enabling reliable, high-throughput data generation and analysis.

Candidates must hold an internationally-recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of its completion in the nearest future) in related areas.

The contract is offered initially for a period of 3 years.

Salaries for ICFO Postdoctoral positions are assigned by the Selection Committee, based on experience and seniority of the applicant, as well as the assigned tasks and responsibilities within the group. Standard salaries range from a lower level aligned with national Ramon-y-Cajal fellowships to higher levels aligned with Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowships.
