Qorvo is seeking an RF Power Amplifier Design Engineer to join our R&D; team, designing and developing power amplifier products across a broad range of applications.

This role goes beyond standard design work: you’ll take on challenging designs built on non-standard fab processes and emerging technology, and act as a key technical interface between the design team and the process integration team.

You’ll need to build a solid, working knowledge of Qorvo’s GaAs and GaN fabrication processes quickly, since that understanding directly shapes design decisions on this team. It’s a highly collaborative, high-visibility role for someone who enjoys solving first-of-a-kind problems at the boundary between design and process.

This is an onsite position where the expectation is to be onsite in our Barcelona office five days a week.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement power amplifiers using Qorvo’s GaAs and GaN technologies and processes, including designs built on non-standard or emerging fab processes.

Design and optimize RF modules, including substrate-level implement
