PAW Gaming is looking for an experienced Slot Game Artist to join our team remotely.
We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the visual direction of our games, from early concepts and sketches to polished final artwork, while also helping guide the rest of our art team.
A key part of the role will be supporting and mentoring artists who may be strong 2D artists but have less experience working specifically on slot games. You should be able to explain how slot assets need to be designed, what works well on the reels, how symbols should read, and how the overall game should be structured visually.
What you’ll do:
• Define the visual direction and style of each game
• Create sketches, concepts, and key renders when needed
• Review work from other artists and provide clear feedback
• Guide artists who are less experienced with slot game production
• Make sure symbols, characters, backgrounds, frames, and UI assets work well together
• Maintain consistency and quality across the full game
• Help the team understand slot-specific requirements, readability, hierarchy,
and asset structure
What we’re looking for:
• Strong sketching, concepting, and 2D rendering skills
• Strong experience working on slot games
• Good understanding of reels, symbols, bonuses, features, and slot game structure
• Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate clearly with other artists
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color, readability, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to work across different cartoon and stylized 2D aesthetics
• Comfortable working remotely with a production team
Its a requirement to have a portfolio of work of slot games you've worked on.
