We are seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to join a large-scale manufacturing transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and deploying AI-powered solutions that support operational efficiency, production optimisation, and business innovation.
This is a predominantly remote position for candidates based in Europe, with occasional travel to Madrid required for key project workshops and stakeholder engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy AI and machine learning applications for manufacturing use cases
- Develop scalable software solutions that leverage AI technologies and advanced analytics
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for AI adoption
- Integrate AI models into existing enterprise systems and production environments
- Support the development of Generative AI and LLM-based applications where relevant
- Optimise model performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in solution architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Provide technical guidance and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in AI software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML development frameworks
- Proven experience delivering AI solutions within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or similar production-based environments
- Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or Generative AI technologies
- Understanding of cloud-based AI services and modern software development practices
- Experience working in international project environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
