The Role
The AP Accounting Lead will be responsible for the integrity of the Barcelona campus’s financial backbone. This role is a highly hands‑on, second‑in‑command position designed for a patient, resilient professional who thrives in a demanding, fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable process, from tax compliance to executing payroll entries.

1) Strategic Leadership & Departmental Management

- Operational Autonomy: Lead the AP and Accounting function with a results-oriented mindset, ensuring all financial KPIs are met without the need for constant supervision.




- Digital Transformation:Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within the accounting function to drive institutional efficiency.
- Team Stewardship: Cultivate a high-performing environment by fostering professional growth and maintaining departmental accountability.

2) Financial Operations & Compliance

- Full-Cycle Accounting:Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures with absolute precision, ensuring the integrity of the General Ledger.
- Accounts Payable Governance:Validate and process supplier invoices via Sage X3, ensuring rigorous adherence to approval workflows and maintaining an accurate aging report.
- Fiscal Compliance: Oversee tax obligations and support external audit requirements in full alignment with Spanish PGC (Plan General Contable) and corporate regulations.
