Regional Sales Manager

Location: SO/PO/GUPostcodes & 2 days per week in Andover office Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Company Car/Car Allowance Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time

Are you an ambitious, commercially minded sales professional who knows the construction or trade environment and is ready to take real ownership of a region?

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join a growing business within the construction sector. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the field, meeting customers, developing relationships and identifying opportunities.

This isn’t a traditional account management position where you simply manage an existing portfolio. You’ll be responsible for developing your territory, increasing customer engagement, supporting local trade stores and uncovering new commercial opportunities. We’re looking for someone with the energy and ambition to make the region their own - someone who can plan their week, get out in front of customers and take responsibility for their results without needing to be micromanaged.

What you’ll be doing




- Taking ownership of your assigned region and developing its sales potential
- Visiting customers and prospective customers regularly to build strong face-to-face relationships
- Developing existing relationships while actively identifying new business opportunities
- Supporting trade stores across your region and helping them achieve their sales targets
- Driving customer footfall and encouraging customers to use their local trade stores
- Promoting the brand, products, catalogues and current promotions
- Identifying opportunities within smaller and developing accounts and helping them grow
- Prospecting within your territory and developing new commercial relationships
- Visiting new customer sites and following up on potential opportunities
- Identifying larger opportunities and working with the relevant internal teams to progress them
- Working towards regional sales and turnover targets
