Role description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Tarifa at La Residencia Puerto Hotel & Spa. This role oversees daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant “El Patio,” bar, and any special events or room service offerings.

Responsibilities include managing service standards, supervising and scheduling staff, coordinating menus and promotions with the culinary team, and ensuring consistent guest satisfaction. The Food and Beverage Manager monitors inventory levels, controls costs, and supports budgeting and revenue targets. The role also involves training and developing team members, maintaining health and safety standards,



handling guest feedback, and collaborating with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

- Strong food service and food & beverage management skills, with experience overseeing restaurant and bar operations.
- Demonstrated customer service abilities, with a focus on guest satisfaction, complaint resolution, and personalized hospitality.
- Experience in training, coaching, and leading diverse teams in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment.
- Budgeting and basic financial management skills, including cost control, forecasting, and revenue optimization.
- Previous experience in hotel food and beverage or upscale dining settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in hospitality operations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills in English; additional languages such as Spanish are an asset.
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Relevant education or certification in hospitality management, food and beverage, or a related field is beneficial.
