We are looking for a motivated and analytical Junior Engineer to join our Purchasing & Supply Chain team. This role combines engineering fundamentals with data-driven decision-making to contribute to suppliers optimization, inventory management, production planning, cost analysis and distribution processes.

The position will work closely with cross-functional teams supporting key initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze supply chain performance using data-driven methods to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the development and maintenance of cost models for components and products, contributing to decisions related to design, process optimization, make-or-buy, and manufacturing localization.
- Support to procurement and new suppliers tasks
- Support to international purchaising process.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in both existing and new product designs.
- Evaluate production costs across different manufacturing sites and suppliers, supporting scenario analysis (volume changes, currency fluctuations, supplier changes).




- Develop models and simulations to optimize production planning, inventory levels, and demand forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support digital transformation initiatives (ERP enhancements, process automation, data analytics tools).
- Maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance and support decision-making reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Controlling, Operations, Manufacturing, or related environments. Automotive industry process knowledge is a plus.
- Familiar with MS Office. Dynamics365 is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English for frequent work with Europe or Asia. Third language is a plus.
- Willing to travel 20% to our subsidiaries
- Residence nearness to Barcelona and own vehicle to office access due to no public transport.
