Job purpose: This role is crucial for providing essential healthcare services to beneficiaries within the framework of IOM's mission. The nurse will conduct initial health assessments, deliver direct nursing care including vital signs monitoring, wound dressing, medication administration, and vaccinations. A key aspect of the role involves identifying and managing individuals with chronic conditions, infections, or specific health needs. The position also supports diagnostic and screening tests, participates in vaccination campaigns,
and maintains accurate health records. Furthermore, the nurse will provide health education to beneficiaries, promote awareness on hygiene and disease prevention, and facilitate referrals to specialized medical or psychological services, ensuring comprehensive care and support for vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include conducting initial health assessments to identify beneficiary healthcare needs.
