Senior SAP HCM Spanish Payroll Consultant – Madrid

Location: Madrid, Spain

Working Model: Hybrid

Salary Range: €60,000–€70,000 gross per year , depending on experience.

We are looking for a Senior SAP HCM Consultant with strong expertise in Spanish Payroll to join an implementation project based in Madrid .

The ideal candidate will have solid functional experience in SAP HCM PY , particularly Spanish Payroll, and hands-on experience delivering full implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in end-to-end SAP HCM Spanish Payroll implementation projects .
- Configure and customize SAP Payroll according to business requirements.
- Work with payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, retroactive calculations and payroll posting .
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP solutions.
- Prepare functional documentation and support testing, UAT, cutover and go-live activities.
- Provide support for Payroll-related issues, enhancements and continuous improvements.




- Work closely with technical teams and other SAP HCM consultants.
- Participate in client workshops and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

- Senior-level experience in SAP HCM Spanish Payroll .
- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP HCM implementation projects .
- Strong knowledge of Spanish Payroll configuration and payroll processes.
- Experience with schemas, PCRs, wage types and payroll rules .
- Strong client-facing and requirements-gathering skills.
- Fluent/native Spanish.
- Good level of English.
- Based in Madrid or within commuting distance.

Nice to Have

- Basic knowledge of ABAP within SAP HCM , particularly for reviewing developments, debugging, enhancements or working closely with technical teams.
- Experience with SAP HCM Time Management (PT) .
- Experience with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors or Employee Central Payroll (ECP) .
- Experience in international rollouts or integral SAP environments.
