School of Marbella seeks an exceptional, well-qualified and experienced teacher of chemistry to join on a temporary paternity cover basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate a rigorous and creative approach to teaching and have the necessary skills and vision to enhance teaching and learning within the science department. Recent UK or international experience of teaching Chemistry up to IGCSE, as well as KS 3 science.

Honours

Degree in Chemistry or a related field. UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven track record of raising standards of attainment in science. Reflective practitioner who continually strives to improve performance. Consistent application of school policies.

Experience of being an effective form tutor or equivalent. Willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school. Strong opportunities for ongoing professional development provided by the school and BSF.
