Financial
Analyst to provide primary support to the overall Amazon cost structure and deliver financial insight on strategic investments to Senior Leadership. This role collaborates closely with a broad range of integral finance and business leaders across Procurement, Field, Compliance, Risk and Insurance, and Operations teams. The role also partners with stakeholders across technical project and security teams, as well as FP&A.;
This role involves collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to track investment spend and program performance related to business improvement and cost reductions across the global supply chain. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to innovate by building creative solutions with large-scale data mining tools, identifying the high-priority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders, and solving complex problems that effect company-wide strategic decisions. Key job responsibilitiesUse solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
These decisions can have global impact. Use financial systems and advanced Excel functions to work with large data sets. Outputs plans, forecasts, budgets,
and consolidations. Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events.
Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly. Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports that drive cost reductions.

Basic
QualificationsBachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field, or experience in relevant finance rolesExperience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial resultsExperience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable resultsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree (MBA or related discipline)Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)Experience making strategic business decisions and managing internal relationships, or experience working with stakeholdersExperience working in a large team or fast-paced corporate environmentExperience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challengesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
