You must be able to make assumptions explicit and use formal, structured reasoning to reach a solution, and explain why it is correct. Build and operate the cloud infrastructure BLP depends on, covering security, observability and CI/CD.

Backend: Develop a large codebase, tackling performance, concurrency and the challenges of distributed systems. ML: Apply the latest AI technology to complex, real-world business problems and turn it into reliable production software. We do not require experience with any particular technology or even industry software development experience. strong academic backgrounds (math PhD/MSc or significant olympiad achievements) startup experience (early employee, built productive systems yourself & know what it takes to maintain them) Work on-site in Zurich or remotely within Europe.
