Rotational Sole Chef - 44m Private Explorer Motor Yacht Start date: ASAP Location: Palma de Mallorca Itinerary: Atlantic crossing followed by Panama for Christmas; worldwide programme Salary: €7,000-€7,500/month, depending on experience Contract: Permanent rotational SEA - 2:2 months We are looking for an experienced Rotational Sole Chef to join a beautiful 44m private explorer motor yacht with a unique worldwide itinerary. The yacht is currently in Palma and will cross the Atlantic before heading to Panama for Christmas. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and adaptable chef who enjoys travelling to unusual destinations and sourcing quality ingredients in more remote locations.

The American owners lead a very healthy lifestyle and place great importance on nutritious, high-quality food. The successful candidate must be confident preparing: Healthy and creative vegan dishes Gluten-free cuisine,



including gluten-free bread and sourdough Mediterranean cuisine Japanese cuisine and sushi Indian dishes The Sole Chef is responsible for catering for up to 12 guests and seven crew members. The owners may also travel with additional personnel, including a babysitter and yoga instructors, so excellent organisation and the ability to perform well during busy guest trips are essential.

Requirements Minimum two years' experience as Sole Chef on a similar-sized yacht Strong knowledge of healthy, vegan and gluten-free cuisine Confident preparing Mediterranean, Japanese, sushi and Indian cuisine Valid STCW Basic Training Valid ENG1 or equivalent seafarer medical EU passport or the right to work in the Schengen area Valid B1/B2 visa Good English communication skills Male due to cabin arrangements The idóneo candidate is creative, organised and adaptable, with a genuine passion for healthy cuisine. They must be comfortable managing the galley independently, catering for both guests and crew, and maintaining consistently high standards throughout an adventurous worldwide programme.
