As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design, development and qualification of new solid-state components and systems. The candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable navigating uncertainties and customer driven design requirements.

About The Job
- Develop and qualify electrical designs for solid-state control and protection components and systems. Establish design details, including stress and tolerance analysis, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor to the broader development team. Establish technical excellence by example and through teaching of less experienced team members.
- Evaluate technical feasibility and select suitable suppliers for components and processes.
- Lead testing of AC (single phase and three phase) and DC protection systems.
- Engage with contract manufacturers or in house manufacturing to implement
