Job Scope
The Health and Safety Manager, reporting directly to the Country General Manager, is responsible for leading, implementing, and monitoring occupational health and safety activities across the operations in Spain. The Health & Safety Manager coordinates with the appointed internal or external prevention service and supports all departments in managing workplace risks, implementing preventive measures, delivering employee training, and investigating incidents. It drives compliance with Spanish Occupational Risk Prevention Law 31/1995 and Royal Decree 39/1997, alongside applicable airport and client requirements, while promoting a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities




• Lead workplace risk assessment and prevention activities, coordinating with the appointed internal or external prevention service to analyse operational risks and define appropriate preventive measures, controls, and safe working procedures.
• Oversee the preparation, implementation, and updating of health and safety documentation, including the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan, workplace risk assessments, preventive action plans, and emergency procedures.
• Plan and conduct regular workplace inspections and internal safety audits, identifying non-compliance, agreeing corrective actions with department managers, and monitoring their timely completion and effectiveness.
• Manage health and safety coordination with contractors, service providers, and airport operators, including Coordinación de Actividades Empresariales (CAE) requirements, the exchange of risk information, coordination records, and imple
