Position Summary
The Treasury role supports the management, monitoring, and control of treasury activities for IREN Spain, ensuring accurate cash visibility, disciplined payment processes, effective banking coordination, and reliable treasury reporting. The role contributes to the financial control of IREN’s Spanish operations and development platform, supporting liquidity planning, funding follow-up, intercompany processes, and cash management requirements in a high-growth data center and AI infrastructure environment.
Working within the Finance Department and reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the Treasury role provides day-to-day support in cash flow tracking, bank account administration, payment preparation, treasury documentation, debt and funding information follow-up, and coordination with internal finance teams, banks, advisors, and corporate stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the Treasury role is responsible for:
• Prepare and maintain cash flow trackers, liquidity reports, bank balance updates, payment forecasts,
and treasury dashboards to support short- and medium-term cash visibility for IREN Spain.
• Support payment preparation, review, documentation, and follow-up, ensuring that payment processes are accurate, properly authorised, recorded, and aligned with internal controls and corporate procedures.
• Coordinate operational banking matters, including bank account administration, authorised signatory updates, KYC requests, banking documentation, account access, and communication with financial institutions.
• Assist with the follow-up of funding, debt, intercompany financing, guarantees, and treasury-related documentation, maintaining organised records and supporting information requests from corporate finance, accounting, tax, legal, and external advisors.
