Position Summary
The Compliance Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of IREN Spain’s compliance framework, ensuring that the company operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance standards, internal policies, and ethical business principles. The role helps embed a strong compliance culture across the organization by providing practical guidance, monitoring regulatory obligations, and coordinating compliance-related controls and reporting.
Working within the Legal Department and reporting to the General Legal Counsel, the Compliance Manager supports IREN’s activities as a next-generation data center and AI cloud infrastructure company by helping manage compliance risks linked to corporate governance, whistleblowing, business ethics, third-party relationships, data protection, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, and internal control requirements.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Legal Counsel, the Compliance Manager is responsible for:
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of IREN Spain’s compliance framework, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, applicable legal requirements, and IREN’s governance standards.
• Monitor regulatory and compliance developments relevant to IREN’s operations in Spain and assess their potential impact on internal policies, controls, and business processes.
• Coordinate compliance risk assessments, control reviews, and action plans, working with Legal, Finance, Operations, Procurement, HR, IT, and other internal stakeholders to address identified gaps.
• Provide practical guidance to business teams on anti-bribery and corruption, conflicts of interest, sanctions, third-party due diligence, gifts and hospitality, whistleblowing, and ethical business conduct.
• Manage compliance documentation, registers, evidence files, training records, and reporting materials to support internal governance, audits, and management oversight.
