FocusEconomics is a leading provider of economic intelligence reports, data solutions and a business intelligence platform for senior executives in multinational companies, financial institutions and governmental organizations. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven business-to-business sales executive to join our commercial team in Barcelona.
Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new leads through research, networking and social selling.
• Manage automated prospecting tools (e.g. Enginy), ensuring all allocated resources are fully utilized.
• Build a strong pipeline of relationships with C-level decision-makers.
• Identify business drivers and match the optimal solution to each customer.
• Manage full sales cycles from quoting through negotiation to close, including writing outstanding business proposals.




• Convert qualified prospects into clients and grow those accounts through upsell.
• Create and execute account strategies for new and existing clients.
• Keep customers and prospects engaged through frequent and timely follow-up.
• Work with the Customer Success Manager on the handover of accounts into managed renewal.
• Forecast and monitor performance against key sales indicators.

Requirements

Requirements
• Degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment; SaaS experience is an advantage.
• Proven track record of quota-carrying sales, with the ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels, including executives and C-level manage
