China Three Gorges (Europe) S.A is hiring a Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance Department in Madrid. The role focuses on M&A; transactions, corporate counsel matters, and contract review within the renewable energy sector.
Key Eligibility Criteria
Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent relevant discipline.
Experience: 3+ years of M&A; and corporate counsel work in prestigious law firms or as in-house counsel in international companies.
Languages: Advanced English (C1-C2)



and Advanced Spanish (C1-C2/Native).
Desirable: Master's or specialization in renewable energy; previous experience in the renewable sector or energy legal teams.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
Management of M&A; transactions and corporate counsel matters.
Review of contracts and ancillary documents (EPC, O&M;, asset management, facility agreements) in the renewable energy sector.
Proactive prevention and management of legal risks and disputes.
Coordination with external legal counsel for integral projects and litigation.
Providing legal support to internal departments (Finance, M&A;, HR, Operations, Development).
