Overview

In this role you shape the game vision and ensure a cohesive player experience across platforms. You collaborate with Creative Director and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and maintain a high-quality, engaging AA experience. You lead design efforts, align mechanics with progression, and balance systems while communicating clearly with stakeholders. This position offers the chance to influence multiple titles within a globally distributed studio and contribute to Gameloft’s ongoing growth and industry leadership.

Responsabilidades

- Define and execute the game vision with senior stakeholders
- Direct tone, gameplay, and meta structure to foster innovation and AA experience
- Lead the design team for cohesive player experience
- Coordinate level design to align mechanics and progression
- Mitigate threats to quality and innovation
- Foster collaboration across Art, UI, Tech, Online, Data, Audio, Production, HR




- Plan resources and roadmaps with managers and producers
- Participate in recruiting game designers

Requisitos principales

- 6+ years in game design with lead or principal roles
- Released at least two titles as lead/principal/senior designer
- Experience in PC/Console action genres (sports, racing, combat, shooters, open world)
- Prototyping experience with Unity or Unreal
- Strong knowledge of meta-game/progression systems, balancing, UI/UX, level design, and narrative
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of gaming market and trends
- Ability to maintain creative strategy while adapting to feedback
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma
- Fluent in English
