Join us in Munich as a Senior Tax Analyst and help drive direct tax compliance for one of Amazon's most complex and highest-growth entity portfolios in Europe.
- You'll own tax reporting and compliance for a portfolio of Amazon's German and EMEA legal entities, working directly with cross-functional partners across Accounting, Legal, and Transfer Pricing
- Be part of a team actively deploying GenAI and automation tools to modernize how tax compliance gets done at scale

Key job responsibilities
Working within the EMEA Foreign Reporting & Compliance team,



the Senior Tax Analyst will:
- Prepare and review foreign income tax returns, tax filings, and supporting work papers for EMEA legal entities
- Prepare and review foreign income tax provisions under IFRS and/or Local GAAP
- Prepare and review estimated tax payments and local income tax payments
- Support income tax accounting and reporting under US GAAP for SEC reporting purposes
- Support international tax controversy teams during tax audits and authority correspondence
- Partner with Accounting, Transfer Pricing, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely tax reporting
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives across the tax reporting and compliance lifecycle, including the use of Artificial Intelligence
- Support regular reporting of key metrics to Management
- Participate in special projects, including tax due diligence and integration support for M&A;
